Biography

HWY 7 began their journey several years ago, and since that time, they have been traveling on the road full-time, and performing at different venues across America from New York to California.  This includes stops in New York City, (Carnegie Hall); Branson, Missouri, (Silver Dollar City); Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, (the Country Tonite theatre and Dollywood); Nashville, Tennessee, (The Gibson Café at Opry Mills); and Eureka Springs, Arkansas, (the Passion Play amphitheatre and the Pine Mountain theatre) just to name a few.  HWY 7 was also privileged to perform at 3 separate showcases at the 2008 CRS39 event (Country Radio Seminar) at the Nashville Convention Center in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.  This event was by invitation only, with HWY 7 being the only Christian band to perform.  With a strong faith in their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, an influence of Contemporary Christian, Praise and Worship, 80’s Rock, and Modern Country music, HWY 7 has a unique style that is often compared to “Little Big Town”, “33 Miles”, “Rascal Flatts”, and “Keith Urban”.  With a repertoire of original songs mixed in with today’s worship, moving lyrics, and powerful vocals, HWY 7 is the next new band to watch for.  With God guiding the way, and Jesus Christ in the center of the music, there is truly no limit in sight for this band from Russellville.

Statement of Faith

Dear Pastor, Minister & Congregation,

We, as ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ in song, believe in the deity of our Lord and Savior.  We believe that Jesus was in the beginning, he willingly left the portals of Heaven to come to earth, he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, he was born of a virgin, he lived a perfect and sinless life, he followed his Father's will to perfection, he willingly laid down his life on the cross of Calvary, he was crucified for the sins of the world, he died and was buried but on the 3rd day he rose again (thank you Jesus!!), he conquered death, hell, and the grave, he now sits at the right hand of God the Father, he is the advocate and intercessor for all those who accept him, and he is coming back to rapture his chosen bride.

We believe that there is only one way into Heaven, and that is through the precious, redeeming blood that was shed by Jesus.  He is the only way.  We believe a broken spirit, a repentant heart, a prayer of forgiveness, and a confession from the mouth is essential for one's salvation.  We further believe that once a soul has been saved, that the grace and mercy of God is extended to them and are available to them for the rest of their natural existence, and the Holy Spirit abides in them for guidance, conviction, and wisdom until the day of perfection (Christ's return) comes.

We believe that God has a purpose and a will for ALL those who have come to know Him.  We not only want to see sinners come to Jesus in repentance, but we also feel that our ministry extends to the church body as well.  We believe that we are to edify the church, lift up our brothers and sisters, and encourage those who may be facing difficult times.  We want the body to remember that God loves us more than we will ever know, and He is still in control of every situation, and that He cares about everything we go through as His children.

• We believe that God inspired and holds authority over all Scripture.
• We believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God's plan and purpose for the ages.
• We believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the deity, virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
• We believe that salvation is by Grace alone and is a free gift from God through the sacrifice of His son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
• We believe that Jesus Christ will return to earth someday as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
